Could be worse, could be a Ford Kuga, currently the butt of all jokes here, and with a few dozen having caught fire while driving, and with one confirmed fatality as well when the vehicle refused to open the doors while burning.

No accident involved, just drive and it burns......

I like Dave's reviews much better.  This guy talks a lot, adds drama but offers few details.   With Dave's reviews we still get the chat and drama but he also offers details to backup his point of view and independently tests what he is showing.  Sure, independently testing a car is not the same as testing a bunch of pocket DVMs (which we are waiting on) but just making a video where you state over and over how this is your opinion and its all based on what others have done, what's the point?  Personally, I would go to the source and make my own call.

Nevermind the crappy 2 star rating, what on earth did their engineers do wrong with the seatbelts and airbags ?
How do you screw up seatbelt tensioners and airbags so the people still get badly injured in a crash ?
Really what is the point of an airbag that still lets you smash you head into the dashboard.

I've seen videos from this guy before. I like his style. I dont have to agree with everything he thinks. But that's OK, people with strong opinions make mistakes.

I had a good Ford, though it was more than half Mazda in the design. I agree on the First In All Troubles though, and the Gallic design philosophy that wants a vehicle to last the warranty period and one hour more, and which also has an entire service tool set that includes a whole load of " tool, special" specific to that particular model, and also a whole load of model specific programming as well.
