US Army training video
« on: May 24, 2018, 03:21:37 pm »
Hello :)
If you ‘re familiar with the first two US Army core logic videos that have been around for years, you may like this one.
It has way less views than the others, so it seems to have slipped under the radar for many people.
I watched as many of these as I could a few years ago, and never saw this until it somehow slipped into a suggested feed.

Cool video. Those were the days when you wore a tie to use an oscilloscope. Classy!

By the way, we still had to program in FORTRAN using punch cards in the 80's on an IBM 4341 mainframe with a whopping 1MB RAM or thereabouts shared among around 100 time sharing users on 3278 terminals. Ties had already been obsoleted though.

That channel is a gem. I think I'll binge watch it.

I built this, and initially thought it was bonkers. It’s kinda correct, but sergeant major screwball starts counting from 1 at the top line.
Having done the decade input instinctively beginning at zero from the bottom, I’ve made a binary down counter.
My image there is incorrect, but I still call BS.
