add a transistor to my DC-DC converter for 1.5A output

Hi i want to add a transistor to my DC-DC converter for 1.5A output but im not sure how or what transistor (mosfet) to use? can anyone help me?

Which DC-DC converter? Are you planning on using the transistor in parallel with it as a linear regulator? It isn't possible to increase the output power of a DC-DC converter directly, but you can bypass it and use its output to regulate a linear regulator.
