Auto focus lens driver for image sensor
« on: June 21, 2017, 05:39:58 am »
Hello,

I am developing a circuit where an image sensor (AR1335 CSP) http://www.onsemi.com/PowerSolutions/product.do?id=AR1335) acting as Master and processor (AP1302, http://www.onsemi.com/PowerSolutions/extSearch.do?query=AP1302&param1=type&param1_val=evalboard) is like a slave (ISP).

One confusing fact was that, slave was connected with USB hub( CYUSB3065) which has been provided I2C signal to drive liquid lens driver MAX14574. In new design, I need to add those from master. Previously, master I2C signal was controlling LEDS.

To drive the image sensor the following circuit is required,(See first diagram)
I am expecting auto focus voltage output, that is clear on circuit.

Dont you think its SDA and SCL pin should be connect from master? Lets say I am using level translator (TXSO102DQER) with pull up resistor between Master and lens driver. To understand my application, see the attached ( circuit 2)
