LumiWatch Projection Watch
« on: April 23, 2018, 11:35:02 pm »
Another attempt at a projection watch
They are calling out Captain Disillusion on Twitter, because they have a real prototype.
I don't see this tech is every going to be a practical project someone is going to want to use.

I remember a laser keyboard that projected a keyboard onto the table or whatever surface you set it on.

Yep, but that benefited from a much higher projection angle, and a known flat stable surface.
Having it in a watch at a shallow angle on an irregular surface that moves is always doomed to failure.
Of course it's fun to play with such tech, but it will never be practical.

I notice that he doesn't have any hair on his arm. Maybe it'll be necessary to include a waxing kit?  :)

I'm thinking a small arm mounted projection screen would be more useful :)
