Bike light driver/controller chip
« on: December 13, 2017, 08:17:06 pm »
Hi all,

I am looking into the possibility of hacking the front light on my bicycle, so some info on the driver/controller chip it uses would be helpful.
Unfortunately, I have not been able to find anything yet. It's an 8-pin SOIC marked 1119A. It has push-button on/off control and also seems to
have the option for an LDR.

Any idea where I can find a datasheet?

Thanks.

Not much to go on from your post.  Pictures might help. And "hacking" isn't very descriptive of your intent. WTF are you trying to do?

Try tracing out the schematic and maybe some instrumentation (like current draw, LED Vf and such). From the context, it might become obvious what the chip is.
