Custom Arduino PCBs manufactured by JLCPCB
« on: December 18, 2017, 01:30:29 pm »
Hi, last week, I designed my first PCB ! It's an Arduino clone with built-in RGB led and 4 buttons.
I just recieved the board today and I'm quit happy with how they turned out :)

I recieved them 6 days after ordering them and got free DHL Express shipping because it was my first time ordering a PCB from them.
It came wrapped up in a good quantity of bubble wrap, that's a good thing if the DHL guy isn't carefull...

There are however a few things I didn't like:
- The soldermask is slightly off-center
- The silkscreen is has a line where it hasn't been printed

But, for $2 delivered, I can't realy complain...

Here are a picture of the front and the back of the PCB:

And here are a few pictures I took with my microscope (150x):

These are the design files:

For some reason, the "Board rev 1.0" disapeared in the design files, guess I forgot to save :/

Did you ask first if they could cut the slots for the powerjack,  or did they just do it anyway?

I asked them, it was in the drill file.
When you order a PCB, they just ask you for a zip containing the gerbers and a drill file.
