Custom Query in Altium Rule
«

Hey all,
I'm kinda new with the altium rules query, and I am trying to make a rule that's says:
Allow Shortcircuit only for GND net and GNDA net, but refuse for all others.
Thanks

The correct way to do this is probably the "NetTie" feature. Might wanna look into that

I know what you mean. But my question is how to allow Shortcircuits when I am routing the GND net
or
the GNDA for exemple to make ground rings around pads and traces.
But if allow any court-circuits, then I could have problems with other signal nets.

- Make a new short-circuit rule
- Make a custom query where it now says 'all nets' for GND
- For the other entry select GNDA
- Tick the "allow short circuit" box.
