Diference between TOP245F and TOP245FN - compability issue
« on: July 30, 2014, 03:59:24 pm »
I am not expert on things like this, i can determine when something is broke and not functioning, but these tinny things are out of my league.

So i have this TOP245F that is shorted and not working. So i ordered replacement by same marking but instead i got TOP245FN, that N on ed is troubling me. I went thru datasheet and with my knowledge no help or clarification.

If any one had same issue or just knows if there is difference, are they compatible? I doubt that extra N is there for nothing. It is for one LG 17" LCD power supply board repair so I am not eager to put it there without be sure they are compatible.

Thank you upfront!

You probably want to read that little datasheet a little bit harder.

Trust me, it is there.

N just means the leads are tinned with plain tin (no lead). No letter after F means the  leads/contacts/pins were tinned with leaded solder.
