Equivalent to Analog device ADUM2401CRWZ
« on: June 29, 2016, 09:20:03 am »
Help me to determine if these components are equivalent;

Using Analog device -ADUM2401CRWZ; is Silicon Labs SI8641ED is equivalent.

Functionality of both device is same , concern is with lower output current compared to Analog part ..

Is that should be okay ?

When you say "lower output current" I have to assume you mean the driver output. Both parts specify their output voltage for a given current load and appear to be equivalent. (4mA source/sink voh min Vdd-0.4 (ADI and SI both), vol max 0.4 (ADI and SI both))

What is it you're looking at that is actually different?

Hi ,

Yes you are right . Thanks !
The AD part is currently is used in my design. I just wanted to go with this low cost SI part. Just wanted hear from you guys the difference I found in the source  and sink currents. ?
