EUREKA !! LED tester with zero cost ..

Everything started when I took my old RS diode- transistor  tester  apart for  cleaning , actually total wash and replaced the 9V battery too ...

As soon it become active again... I took an LED at hand, to test the functionality , the LED under test started flashing , no matter the polarity .. 

This gave me the idea that the LED could possibly light on , also with the on board transistor tester ,
on my DMM ...  and it did     , the voltage output are about 3V , so yes it can work out..
