Folding Workbench
« on: November 24, 2009, 05:21:33 am »
So I "needed" an electronics workbench for my small apartment. Asked my Dad to put something together, and came up with this. The legs fold inward, and the top folds down, so it can fit into a car. Finally I have access to my "lab on a budget" at school now. :)

Plan to add a top so I can mount my component cabinets to it.

 - There should be a "show off your workspace" thread here.

I agree nice.  You should create a second folding tier above your component drawers for the lab equipment like the function generator and power supply,  Leave the workbench for the project, the vice, and the soldering station.

really cool that it folds though!

Technically the eevblog lab bench can fold too, but it's hardly portable being bolted into the brick wall on swing brackets.

Dave.
