Title: Good USB2 webcam for wide color gamut/sharpness?

 I'm looking for a good quality USB webcam that's not too expensive, has a sharp manual focus lens,  and nice looking colors. I'm hoping to use it in computer vision.

It would be especially great if it had a standard screw for mounting on a tripod if necessary.

Does anybody have any suggestions?

The Thermal camera sub forum may not be the best place to ask about a webcam ?
