Hello,
Currently I'm designing FLIR Tau 2 brakeout board. I'm planing to use LVDS signals (70-140Mhz) coming from camera, but I'm stuck with connector and cable selection. Best would be to use flat flex cable, but I'm struggling to find affordable and widely available solution.I have looked into KEL Co. USL series (as they are used on Sony block cameras), but I can't find them in small quantities. Manufacturer minimum order is 100pcs for connectors (1 euro each) and 18 euros per cable (didn't specify min. q. but they have 74 in stock currently). This seem a bit pricey for few boards we are going to make. Does anyone have suggestions for connectors and cables?
Maybe I should stick with standard 0.5mm ffc and hope it works...
