From a photo off the net, I'd like to identify the National Semiconductor (now a division of TI) switching regulator. See red arrow in pic.
The NS symbol is clear, but the part number is indistinct.
I think it is LM34?? and is probably one of the Simple Switcher series.
All I know about the specs (Chinese manufactured RGB LED controller) is that the input supply is stated to be DC 5 to 24V. But this may be inaccurate.
Output is probably 12V, at a few amps capacity.
Package appears to be TO-263 (S) or similar. 5 leads plus tab.
Online info from TI doesn't seem to have anything like a full line chart. Only pages pushing recent parts.
And my paper NS databooks are all too old.
