Industrial socket for micro SD card
« on: April 16, 2014, 07:18:52 am »
Dear All,

I've tried using the search and couldn't find if this topic was the case of any previous discussion. If You know please point it out.

I'm working on a industrial grade device and I would appreciate if somebody can suggest an industrial grade push/push or push/pull micro SD socket.

Many socket manufacturers that I looked up can only guarantee operating temperature from -25°C to +85°C. On the other hand, as we know, industrial grade component should be in the range of -40°C to 100°C. For my application, the tolerable range would be to from -40°C to +85°C.

Thx very much!

@migulevp

I did just that few days ago but their generous help is insufficient to me.
They suggested GCT MEM2066 socket that is pretty tricky regarding mechanical safety and stability.

maybe you can contact the manufacturer (JAE) and see if they have something a bit better.

Industrial is to 85deg C. Look for automotive for a temperature range to about 100 deg C.
There are small lies, big lies and then there is what is on the screen of your oscilloscope.
