STM32L051 External oscillator pin out

Hi guys,

I'm designing a low power system around the STM32L051K8 and I'm under a fair bit of confusion from the data sheet. I'm going to be using the LQFP32 version and reading the datasheet, I can't tell whether the external crystal oscillator pins (PC14 and PC15) allow for the connection of a 32.768kHz crystal or not. Reading the datasheet, it seems the pinout page is full of errors: http://www.st.com/st-web-ui/static/active/en/resource/technical/document/datasheet/DM00108219.pdf

I'd really appreciate if someone could help clear this up for me? If not, where could I find this information?

From a quick glance I can't see the errors on the pinout page. But from page 69 the OSC32 pins (PC14 and 15) are designed to be used with a 32.768 kHz crystal, which is referred to as the LSE (low speed external) clock - page 67 lists the clock characteristics.

Thank you for your time! On page 33, the chip is listed as an LQFP32 yet the image names it a QFN32 package (I'm assuming their the same size...) It also names PC14 as OSC_IN and PC15 as OSC32_OUT which is where the confusion is I think! Following the actual pinout table, PC14 is actuall OSC32_IN so I think it must just be that image that's incorrect.
