Looking for recommendations on li-ion power modules
« on: February 23, 2018, 03:04:15 am »
Hey all,

I am looking for recommendations for a battery solution with the following specs:

- Li-ion
- 6s1p configuration preferred (voltage ~22v)
- 15-20 W-hour capacity
- small/compact design (<1inch tall, <2.5inch wide, <5inch long)
- full BMS and charging standalone system
- will power LED's

I am having a heck of a time searching amazon / ebay / sparkfun for a module that meets the size requirement. I'd like a pack that is flat as can be seen above.

I was starting to dig into cell's and BMS chips and was starting to go down the path of building my own power module using 14500 li-ion cylindrical cells, and a TI bq76930 chip for monitoring; haven't given thought to the charging part yet.

any suggestions or leads would be greatly appreciated!
