My First PWM Motor Controller
« on: July 20, 2016, 02:45:06 pm »
Hi everyone. :)

I recently made my first motor controller. It is a PWM fan speed controller for DC fans up to 80 watts: You can see a demonstration of it here:

I used a Launchpad RM57L development kit to run the C code, which adjusts the PWM signal's duty cycle based on the analog to digital converter's reading. The fan speed will vary from 20% of the maximum to 100%, depending on the temperature.

Sincerely,

Nicholas Brown. My engineering resources: https://www.kompulsa.com/engineering-resources/

Nice. I must say that TI have done a great job supporting ther Launchpad series. I used the TM4C123g and everything worked as advertised right out of the box.

Your board doesn't look like it is in a static safe environment.
Don't be surprised of it fails soon.

Ok, is there a container you would recommend?
