PIC24FJ256DA210 + Graphical LCD + Ethernet = Google Map demo :)
« on: September 23, 2012, 08:26:15 pm »
Since I have a bunch of used but working LCDs, I made a small (but dense) control board in order to use them in my future projects.

In this video you can see the Google Map demo running in my board.

The original firmware can be found in the Microchip Libraries of Applications. I adapted the firmware to work with my board and use the AR1020 touch screen controller.

Best regards,
johnmx

Nice work!
Could I see a schematic?
It looks very interesting!

The schematic is the same as the “PIC24FJ256DA210 Development Board”. The only difference is the LCD power supply which is specific to this LCD model.
Most of my work was to design such small PCB only in double layer. I took several days to do it.
