rusEfi: open source standalone engine management system
« on: January 05, 2015, 04:36:33 am »
Hey everyone, I would like to share the project I am involved with:

rusEfi is a GPL open source standalone engine management system.

I am playing with this for about two years now and it recently got to Beta version. stm32f4 arm chip, ChibiOS for RTOS/HAL, KiCad for PCBs. About a dozen of engines have started with this engine control unit, hopefully in about six months this would debut at a race track.

Why another open source EMS? Mostly with the intention to make this one the most user-friendly one and implement more readable code comparing with existing stuff.

Why do you need to break the connectors? (Dent on the connector in the photo)

Good question! Probably I did not want the plugs to lock, probably did not like pulling hard on the harness.

Very cool.  How about an open-source PDK controller?  >:D

We are still playing with all this :)

microRusEfi is a smaller nicer looking board with stm32f4 or stm32f7 and TLE8888
