Selecting a line in an LTSPICE simulation?
« on: September 24, 2017, 02:26:19 am »
I'm ramping a component's value to find the optimum. Is there a way to tell what value corresponds to which line other than iteratively reducing the window of the ramp?

How do I know what value of {X} corresponds to Blue? Red? Teal? Magenta?

Not exactly what you are asking about, but a workaround: you could use the .meas command to sort out which which value of the parameter fits your requirements.

For example, in your simulation using:

.meas TRAN adcpeak FIND V(adc) AT=70u

should tell you which parameter corresponds to each curve.

You can click on the graph legend to get a cursor, which you can move around by dragging it with a mouse. You can then switch between traces with up and down arrow keys and you can right-click the cursor again, to show which trace you are observing.

Not the most convenient way to do it, but that could be said for LTspice in general. ;D
<fellbuendel> it's arduino, you're not supposed to know anything about what you're doing
<fellbuendel> if you knew, you wouldn't be using it

Do you mean you are using .STEP?

If so, right click on the graph, View, Select Step and you'll see an entry for every step. There's no legend, you just have to select them in turn to work out the colour scheme in use. Yes, not particularly satisfactory, but that's how it is.
Anybody got a syringe I can use to squeeze the magic smoke back into this?

Does what I need it to. Thanks!
