TIL111 - 4 IC package
« on: November 25, 2015, 01:56:00 pm »
Hi All;

I have a project that has some years and i'm about to do a hardware revision.
In this project i use 4x TIL111 opto DIP package, but now i want to shrink  the PCB.
Does somebody know a TIL111 equivalent but with the 4x optos in one soic smd package?
( If possible available in RS, since it's the place where i buy my components )

Thank you
Thank you!
Regards

Thank you very much for your answer jeroen74, but my point here is to "hear" your opinion about an similar IC that you have allready worked before.
In google there are many, but i don't have feedback of the performance.

That's why i asked help here!
Thank you!

Sorry,

If your only requirement is "space saving photocoupler available at RS" then you cannot expect any useful answer.

So what are your requirements (isolation voltage , switching speed, current ...)
Usually the isolation voltage determines the package area which is necessary.

with best regards

Andreas

Hi Andreas and thank you for your answer.

I didn't say this "space saving photocoupler available at RS"!!!
Actually i said;
"Does somebody know a TIL111 equivalent but with the 4x optos in one soic smd package?
( If possible available in RS, since it's the place where i buy my components )"

So the requirements are equivalent to TL111, and "if possible" available on RS, not mandatory.

On my search i found one part that can fulfill my requirements, but i need to test. It's a toshiba, don't recall the reference, because i'm not at home.
Thank you!
