Hi,
I attach a circuit where I pretend to control the AC input to a bridge rectifier. I usually see that triacs are used in AC switching and phase control applications such as motor speed and temperature modulation controls, lighting controls, and static switching relays. In this case I just want to control the moment when the bridge is going to be fed. The Triac that I will use is 1-3 quadrant triac. I've seen 4 quadrant triacs, but not so common. Do you think that it could work the way I have arranged the circuit?
