New cordless phone Chip

Hi,
I want to know if you know some new chips for making cordless phones, any suggestions are welcome! I have found some old parts, but they are useless for now because they are not manufactured any more, like the U3600BM

Dialog Semi has a series of single-chip DECT phone solutions, but I doubt getting parts or full data would be easy.

Just looked up the U3600BM, it looks like a pretty interesting device, but it seems to be truly gone, I couldn't see anywhere it could be purchased even in small quantities. I don't have any suggestions unfortunately, but if anyone comes up with one I'd be interested to hear about it.

Thanks for suggestions, ESP32 is way to high priced for the job and I agree it can do it.

I wonder what Chinese have to offer in this field, I think they certainly have some chips for this job.

How about ESP8266? Can't think of anything cheaper if you want Wifi. There are lots of Bluetooth chips but that would make a Bluetooth speakerphone, not a VoIP phone.

If ESP is an option you might want to clarify your design needs.
What exactly do you mean by "cordless phone"? GSM? VoIP? RF packet data?

Well the U3600BM he mentioned is an analogue chip for doing audio signal conditioning and FM TX/RX (with digital control only for tweaking settings). Usually used for cordless handsets for landline telephones, but they are now mostly (all?) using digital modulation schemes.

Thanks for the updates, RF packet data seems to be the cheapest option in here, VoIP is another option if we could do it cheaply too.

I'd be surprised if you could get VoIP cheaper than that. Please make sure to share the info if you get a good deal somewhere.
