12-240v 1kw inverter repair.

hi all ive a 1kw in verter to repair its got o fet gone sc,thats blown up a couple of driver transistors as well,the problem i have is the gate of the fet is driven via a 16th watt resistor thats been cooked,it measures 10 ohm,would that seem about ok as i cant read the markings any more,cheers m3vuv.

10 Ohm sounds pretty reasonable, I've seen anything from about 2.2 to 10 Ohm typically used. The actual value is not normally all that critical, although it wouldn't hurt to scope the gate pin and look for any ringing.
