Agilent N3301A elelctronic load fan speed control
« on: October 14, 2017, 04:03:33 am »
Hi,
I have got used unit in pretty good shape and it works as it should, but fan is running full speed and it is really noisy.
Manual says that fan can be set to lower speed if load is low. But it says nothing how to do that.
On old units 66xx series one could setup fan speed by getting into setup menu depressing 0+9.
But for N330x series this trick is not working.
I wonder if N330x fan speed control has thermal sensor circuit to adjust speed to keep temperature in threshold.
I would appreciate any input.

Thank you
