Greetings all.
i am looking for a replacement switch for repair job i am attempting on a friends Hobart mixer and i have come to a dead end.
the switch on the unit is all chewed up internally and no amount of contact cleaner will remedy the situation so it will have to be swapped out.
my knowledge is limited so please bear with me.
the switch is branded Palazzo and with some research i have found the company has now stopped trading meaning i cant get a like for like replacement.
What i know is;
the switch has 4 positions, and has a header cable attached that links to the control board in the mixer
resting position is off
two latching switch positions when turned left (one for low power one for high)
then one turn right from the resting off position puts it on high power non latching
so a similar layout to a blender if you catch my drift
i have found a link to the data sheet for the switch (see below)
http://www.commutatori-palazzo.it/inglese/commutatori/en_13R.htmand here is a photo of the switch itself
my question, is - what would a similar replacement be with the same switching layout of two on positions and one non latching position?
and how will i work out the wiring so i solder the header cable on correct so i don't fry the switch?
