...You know, the ones that have an autoformer at the output.

I've got one on the bench right now and I would love to hear what a reasonable reading might be for the autoformer winding resistance.  I assume they've got pretty beefy windings (this one is 300W per channel), so nominal winding resistance would be quite low.  But does that mean a couple ohms is normal, or a couple tenths of an ohm, or what?

This one reads lower than I think is correct (unfortunately).  All input welcome, thank you.

Hello,

Well, if that amplifier is a stereo, then you should have two of them (one per channel), right?
You could measure the known good one and compare, unless both have shorted windings.
