Hi

Thank you for reading... Can any body help me with the schematic or help ID this Chip (IC1)

I want it to be a op-amp but really not sure

Most likely a quad op-amp - would need to see more of the surrounding circuit to be sure:

It is a TL064C made by ST, quad op-amp.

Behringer stuff is pretty cheap inside, the electrolytic capacitors are very low quality and cause problems. First thing I check.

Sorry for off topic but just curious, which brand (preferably not overpriced) would you recommend for guitar effects, that is known for decent quality components?

Hi

From a repair point of view all the pedals I have seen are a much of a muchness  .... Hand wired EFX and Amps are an exception !
