CAVITRON BIOSONIC US100
« on: August 20, 2017, 01:25:09 am »
Dear foristas: I have under repair a SCALER ULTRASONIC PIECE (CAVITRON) equipment for dental use WHALEDENT MODEL BIOSONIC US100. The defect is that the handpiece does not work.
In the routine review only 12V are present to feed the ICs. When activating the pedal it feeds some MOSFET transistors with 42V and there is not presence of any type of oscillation in any component.
Diodes, resistors, coils, mosfets and the coil of the handpiece were checked and found normal. They changed all the integrated and remains the same.
I have searched the internet for the scheme of this equipment and I do not find it. Make a basic outline of IC 34063AP1 which I suspect, but I can not interpret it, I request some guidance in a timely manner, thank you in advance for any comments.
The Cavitron in particular has the following integrated:
34063AP1 replace it with the MC34063
CD40106BCN
LM2907
CD4027BCN

Yes, the 34063AP1 is the standard 34063 SMPS controller.
