« on: May 18, 2017, 06:54:18 pm »
Does anyone know where the serial number is defined?

I have one with serial number 000000 so obviously it losts it's orginal serial number, it happend  after an unsuccesfull firmware update board change.

I checked the swop and identity file but no clue at this moment.

Anyone help would be appreciated

See if you can spot any resistor clusters that differ in values between two mainboards. That could be a serial number. Much harder to spot than jumper pads. I remember Dave found some option pins done that way on a Keysight scope teardown a couple months back.

Any success? I suspect that the serial number is stored on the FMR somewhere. Its not stored on the HDD.
