Repairs to Fluke Multimeters
« on: August 24, 2011, 11:43:03 pm »
Hi All,

I'm hoping to buy an ebay Fluke 87V DMM and understand I will not receive the Fluke warranty.

However, can I still get Fluke Australia to do paid repairs on a Fluke DMM if required?

Cheers
GC

There is some fixed prices just for shipping / inspection / repair / reship with insured package.

Just do a telephone call, to them.

Years ago, when Philips were doing the  Fluke service in OZ,they had a very good fixed price, repair+ calibrate service going.
Obviously,if you just wanted a calibration, you were paying a bit more than it cost, but if you needed it fixed, you were on a winner.

Now Philips has self-destructed in this country,I don't know what the policy of their successor is.

I dont really think theyd care about it being under warranty its all money in their pocket at the end of the day.
I rang them myself about getting a cal done and they just asked me the model# and if Id like them to send me a quote.

Thanks, I have my 87V now and hopefully it never requires any trips to the repairman.
