Display repair - picture displayed with two edges
« on: November 21, 2015, 06:42:20 pm »
Hi,
I have here a Lenovo Thinkstation 2240 display. It's not displaying the picture correct. The edges are displayed two times. At first I tought that the vga connector is faulty but it doesn't change the picture when wiggeling on the connector.
The first picture shows some color missmatch which was there but I can't reproduce. The last two pictures show the edge offset. How does this happen?
I checked all connectors inside but this doesn't change anything.
Does someone know how to fix this? Is the panel faulty?

If you get shadows then your VGA cable is of poor quality and needs to be replaced.
There are small lies, big lies and then there is what is on the screen of your oscilloscope.
