Do you know how to clean the contacts of these rotary switches from the Instek GOS-620?
I am also thinking of de-soldering it out to pry the plastic seal, but the front pull knob [smaller one] cannot be pulled out.

First i would email GW instek and ask them what they recommend..

For rotary switches generally, I use a tiny bit of Craig (I may be wrong on the spelling) "Deoxit"-Just a tiny bit on the contacts and then work the switch and clean any excess off. It makes a dramatic improvement. Don't use too much. just the tiniest amount.
