Infi Vision MSO-X 4054A hanging.

I have an Agilent Infi Vision MSO-X 4054 A oscilloscope which hangs up during startup. Following the troubleshooting guide, I found that the backlight supply and the auto probe voltages are absent. Further probing shows that the NCP3064 switching regulator looks dead. Even after replacing the IC the problem persists. THere is no signal at timing capacitor pin 3. VCC is available on switch collector pin 8. Switch Emitter pin 7 is low. On /Off pin is also low.

Has anyone faced / solved this problem Any help is appreciated.

At what point does it hang?
Have you connected to the internal UART to see the boot log?

After switch on Ref, Math & Digital lights glow and stays there. No Dispaly internal / external, no probe voltages.

Sounds like it might have a flash corruption issue like the 2000/3000 series. Have you contacted Keysight to ask if they will cover the repair? If that isn't an option you will need to connect to the internal uart to see where it is hanging in the boot process.

Mine 3000X did not boot up once. then I cycle the power and no more issues...

The backlight voltage & probe voltages are not coming. Are these voltages controlled by the system? How do I check the UART signals?

Keysight will not cover it under warranty. They replaced the boards of 2000 series at my workplace at no cost.
