Field (near ?) probe identification.
« on: December 09, 2018, 06:47:17 pm »
Hello,
I am facing a puzzling probe with no manufaturer/type. Is it a near field probe ? How can I determine the frequency range ?
Thank you

Looks like one of the old Chase EMC (later Schaffner) near-field probes.

Why is there a bunch of ferrite on the coax?
