The attached picture is from a Li-Ion battery charger that came with a fake "Sony" video camera. Being a fake camera, I suspect the charger might not be very safe. I would like to use it as a generic charger for other Li-Ion batteries, so I took a look inside. The charger is powered by a 5V generic wall adapter, and the Red and Black wires are going to the battery. Floating voltage is 4.15V. A Red/Green LED lights Red when charging and green when battery voltage is 4.15V (or no battery connected).
I am NOT interested in Li-Ion charging or safety advice here, the question is all about identifying SMD datasheets.
Can someone help me to identify the exact datasheet, please? The closest one I found so far (but its not a perfect match):
http://www.s-manuals.com/pdf/datasheet/e/c/ec49016_20060518_ecmos.pdf1. The case is about 3mm wide (maybe a SOT-23-5), but what IC is in the picture? I need its datasheet.
2. How do you find datasheets for SMD parts in general? Most of the time google doesn't help very much.
3. Any good links for SMD identifying?
