Flax Ribbon Cable Repair - Any Solution for this?

Does anybody have working solution of how to fix bad ribbon flax connection when there is a bad connection between PCB board and cable?

I used latex tubing to create pressure, however, its not reliable way to fix it...

Expensive (k$) hot bar rework machine, or try to do it manually with a hot bar tip for your handheld soldering iron. Good luck.

I've had some luck just carefully using a solder iron and reheating them.But its hit or miss,it either works all the time or not at all depending on what it is.
