Fluke 75 repair help required please
« on: August 07, 2018, 08:44:44 am »
Hi All, Could someone please help or advise. I have a fluke 75, display was all over the place so cleaned display contacts, cleaned out rotary switch, display still all over the place but all digits there. Checked R1 and was open, so replaced, now when you turn on every segment comes on display, no bleep between ranges, and is the same on every range as rotary switch has no affect on display.
Any help would be appreciated as i used it when i was at work, i just dont want to throw it, by the way R1 ruseable 1k resistor i got from a well known company, you have to buy 5 but under a tenner.
Many Thanks
Bazzamer
PS. Battery used for testing,  it should do a self test but does not seem to do that, no bleep nothing same on every range.
Thanks for the help.

Maybe post a picture showing the problem?
