For.A FA-130P time base corector repair.
« on: May 31, 2017, 08:09:26 pm »
Hi.
I have a For.A FA-130P time base corector that is broken.
It works when you turn it on when it's cold,
but after ten minutes it's got a little hot, and the image starts shaking up and down.
I figured out a bit by blowing on various ic's with air when it was hot,
and if i cool down an ic as it says "Sony 6090 CXA1054" on,
the picture will be fine again.
Could it be that the ic is broken?
And where can i find a new one i google it but found no one who sold the "Sony 6090 CXA1054".
Is there any other model that could work instead and what is it for?
Thanks.

Search for Sony CXA1054 ...  unable to find a pdf sheet,  many websites pretends but give nothing.

Check for bad solders, bad contacts near that chip, on the chip, or nearby capacitors ???
