Help indentify part (TVS diode?)

Hello,
I stumble upon on this part on PCB.
By using multimeter ("diode" mode) I found that this part acts like diode: center lead is anode, ends of part are cathode. Anode is connected to GND and cathode is connected to input of IC which receives signal from detector on cable. So my guess this is an TVS diode. I'm right? Nominal voltage of it I can guess, but how about allowed power and case style? Is it obsolete?

It looks like an EMI suppression filter:

You are probably measuring the ESD protection diodes at the input of the IC.

+1 to an RF filter, I've seen quite a few on the board I just finished fixing, though their form factor looks to be about 2x as long. They show up on the schematic looking like this, a small integrated filter:

I desoldered that part and checked: indeed it is a filter.
Thank you for info.
