Repair Bin Full circuit Fellowes 320C-2 shredder
« on: December 12, 2017, 10:23:50 pm »
I recently repaired my Fellowes 320C-2 cross-cut paper shredder's Bin Full Circuit. Problem: Bin Full light keeps coming on and shutting down the shredder with a red fault light even though there is no obstruction and the lights have been cleaned.
Solution: Take the top off the shredder and look at the circuit board. Jumper JT2 Full has a four wire connector on it. These wires go to the LEDs for the light beam sensor circuit. Two black wires, one red & one orange. Short the black & orange wires! This validates the received signal to the circuit board. That's it - put it back together & return it to service.
