Hi,
I am trying to repair a super old Ericsson Radio Relay Transceiver.
https://www.esato.com/board/ui/68iHIG9uUumUoYNNa0CG.jpgThe receiver side is having a very bad sensitivity. After taking apart the 43kg beast
I found on the receiver module the input rf goes to multiple stages of amplification before going into the mixer. Good news is one of the amplifier is
shorted bad news is I am not sure whats the exact replacement is.
Its a SOT-363/SC-70 6 Pin Package with a marking of 82C. The receiver works from 600MHz to 980MHz
At the moment i am waiting for parts to make an extension jig so I can probe the bias voltage of similar amplifiers in the board to have an idea what operating voltage it should be.
My initial guess is its a MGA-82563, it fits the smd code, the package and the frequency range. the pin assignment even the gain seems logical but is there any other option, please feel free to suggest
Thank You
