Hi,
I scored a HV 100:1 probe which is working not optimal.
the divider is working so far, but the curve looks as something is to slow.
the adjustment with the trim capacistor is impossible, look at the first shot. (the hole for the trimmer is on the small side not visible at my photos)
The applied Signal is the 0.5V peak Test Square Generator from my tek 2232.
But wait, what if I could adjust it with some of the plenty trimer inside?
I do have no clue about the schematics of the probe.
Does it make sense to reverse engeneer the schematics or is it useless, because this probe is simply defect and a hobby man like me can not repair it?
I thought it could be possible to exchange the defective trim capacistor ...
The other turn of the card is what if I have to replace a part, would it be hard to gather?
