I tested circuit boards in a company for 17 years, on the bench ,hundreds per day, and I have seen a lot of cable connector types, the most dreaded being from Molex, which act like they've been glued in.
I am repairing a Hameg HM1507-3 oscilloscope, and have encountered a Molex type connector which baffles me.
It is almost as if it is not intended to be unplugged, EVER.
After pulling the "snap in cap" off with pliers, I pressed each contact in with a screwdriver and finally got it out, but this surely cannot be the way to do it, and this one in the second photo has only 4 pins...
Any ideas anyone?
