HP 3325A Manual, Page 5.2
« on: April 26, 2018, 07:38:22 pm »
Does anyone have page 5.2 of the HP 3325A manual?  Adjustment instructions for the VCO frequency.  I've searched the internet high and low and found maybe a dozen different PDF downloads, and every one of them goes page 5.1, 6.2, 5.3.  Methinks Agilent/Keysight slipped up when scanning and every internet copy is of the same scan.

If not I'll probably buy the Artek scan.

Hi,
hp mixed the 3325A and B manuals in a puzzled way.. I searched a lot, but didn't find a good manual either. So I very quickly bought the ArtekMedia files, 3325B-IM -OM and -SM, which I would also recommend  to you, also.

Found this old scan that I think I posted here previously.  You can also find hi-res scans of the 3325a schematics that I posted on ko4bb - the readily available ones published are pretty hard to read.

A bit off topic, but in case you or anyone else finds this useful, I just cleaned up one of these units this weekend and needed to replace the deteriorated foam filter on the fan.  The key words I learned are "reticulated foam".  30 PPI (pores per inch) seems about right, and I was able to get a lifetime supply for $17 USD plus shipping from here:  http://www.thefoamfactory.com/opencellfoam/filter.html

I also ended up using this to cover all the vent openings in my home network cabinet to help keep it clean but still keep some airflow.

Ah, so you're the source of the hi-res scans.  Many thanks for those - they saved me some puzzling!

I have an original 3325A paper manual too. If Lorenzo_1 doesn't do it, PM me and I'll scan the 5.2 ... 6.1 pages.

He attached it to a reply a few posts above.  Nonetheless, thanks for the offer!  :)

Yeah I saw that. But it's only page 5.2, and you mentioned several more pages are missing. I meant I'd do them all, of which one is a fold-out. Bit busy atm though.

I think I wasn't as clear as I thought I was.  I meant that the internet scans showed page 5.1 then page 6.2 and then page 5.3  i.e., that there is a ring-in where page 5.2 should be.  I still thank you for the offer but I don't need the rest just yet.
