HP 6966A Lab Power Supply Manual
« on: December 05, 2017, 06:20:27 pm »
Hi,
I got my self an HP 6966A lab power supply in very good condition, from the dumpster ;D. But when I switch it on, it's output voltage jump to 60V. :bullshit: (The HP 6966A is a 0-36V and 0-10A power supply)
Now I'm trying to Fix it and a manual with an schematic could save hours :-/O

HP 6966A, 6965A, 6964A and Helmut Singer(Harrison) LVR 6367A are similar.

Thank you for the link, but this model is far more modern than my.
The 6966A is from the 1970s, with SCR preregulation and GA-Transistor.

Sorry the link did not work. Looked up "HP 6699a Lab power supply" got to a reprint of a 1965 power supply application PDF. Covers features of the power supplies. Might give you an idea on yours. Hope it helps.

Found this on the Power Supplies http://hpmemoryproject.org/an/pdf/an_06-65.pdf.

If you remove the period from the end of the link it works just fine.
