Hp1741a oscilliscope push lever
« on: December 10, 2015, 09:45:38 pm »
Hi was wondering if anyone knew where I could get a replacement lever for the 10x magnification switch. Whilst I was repairing the oscilliscope the lever snapped.

I have got a half-dead HP1740 scope. Fixed it until I realised that half of the analog ASIC is dead. It's pretty useless with one channel, so, probably, I can sacrifice it to source spare parts if someone is interested.

Hello,
I need someone to nag me into firing up that 3D printer.

So, if the spares deal doesnt work out, feel free to go Catalan against my mailbox (tamhan AEHT tamoggemon BALL com). It might take a few emails, as I havent commissioned that printer for one year (bought, built, but never, until today, printed a single item)...

10x magnification switch? Isn't it 5x?

No it 10x if you look st the blue push buttons to the right of the screen of the oscilliscope your see one marked 10x. When you push it in a switch is moved via a plastic lever that connects the push botton to the switch on a pcb. Its this part that connects the push button to the switch that broke in mine.
