HP8595E MIXER ? ?
« on: June 18, 2018, 09:51:38 am »
Hello,
Thank you for helping me,

with my HP8595E I encounter the following problem "cal signal not found".
I measured with a hp435B the 300MHZ -20dbm is perfect.

On the first range of the mixer 5086-7952 up to 2.9GHZ the measured levels are completely false.
Depending on the frequency it can miss -40dbm.

From 3 GHZ the measured levels are about good and perfect the more one goes up frequency.

Can we think that the 1st Mixer 5086-7952 has broken down? ?
I forgot to reconnect the DCblock on the input.

can I use the 8590 Series Service Manual to dismount the RF part?
I can not send this device for maintenance.

Please, thank you for your future answers
  Jeanfrançois
